SUMMARY:2nd ATIP Workshop on International Next-Generation Computing Progr
 ams and Workforce Development
DESCRIPTION:SC18 is the 30th anniversary of the SC conference series. In t
he spirit of highlighting that accomplishment, ATIP's 2018 Workshop emphas
izes country-by-country achievements that have been made towards exascale
and next-generation computing as well as plans and strategies for the futu
re, including mechanisms to expand the pool of qualified HPC practitioners
. The workshop will conclude with a panel composed of representatives fro
m the Student Cluster Competition teams competing this year. Each team rep
resentative will introduce themselves and their team to the larger interna
tional HPC community and speak briefly about their work.\n\nNetworking / I
ndependent Discussion\n\nAfter all questions have been answered, the remai
ning time can be used for networking and one-on-one discussion.\n\n-------
