SUMMARY:PARCOACH Extension for a Full-Interprocedural Collectives Verifica
 tion
DESCRIPTION:Emmanuelle Saillard, Pierre Huchant, and Denis Barthou (French
Institute for Research in Computer Science and Automation (INRIA)) and Hu
go Brunie and Patrick Carribault (Atomic Energy and Alternative Energies C
ommission (CEA))\n\nThe advent to exascale requires more scalable and effi
cient techniques to help developers to locate, analyze and correct errors
in parallel applications.\nPARallel COntrol flow Anomaly CHecker (PARCOACH
) is a framework that detects the origin of collective errors in applicati
ons using MPI and/or OpenMP. \nIn MPI, such errors include collective oper
ations mismatches. In OpenMP, a collective error can be a barrier not call
ed by all tasks in a team. \nIn this paper, we present an extension of PAR
COACH which improves its collective errors detection.\nWe show our analysi
s is more precise and accurate than the previous one on different benchmar
ks and real applications.\n\nTag: Applications, Correctness, Debugging, Fl
oating Point, MPI, OpenMP, Runtime Systems, Tools, Verification\n\nRegistr
ation Category: Workshop Reg Pass\n\nSession Chairs: Ignacio Laguna (Lawre
nce Livermore National Laboratory (LLNL)) and Cindy Rubio-González (Univer
 sity of California, Davis)\n\n
