SUMMARY:OpenSHMEM in the Era of Exascale
DESCRIPTION:Steve Poole (Los Alamos National Laboratory), Tony Curtis (Sto
ny Brook University), Jeff Kuehn (Los Alamos National Laboratory), Oscar H
ernandez (Oak Ridge National Laboratory), Sameer Shende (University of Ore
gon), and Pavel Shamis (ARM Ltd)\n\nOpenSHMEM is a PGAS API for single-sid
ed asynchronous scalable communications in HPC applications. OpenSHMEM is
a community driven standard for the SHMEM API across multiple architecture
s/implementations. This BoF brings together the OpenSHMEM community to pre
sent the latest accomplishments since release of the 1.4 specification, an
d discuss future directions for the OpenSHMEM community as we develop vers
ion 1.5. The BoF will consist of talks from end-users, implementers, middl
eware and tool developers to discuss their experiences and plans for using
OpenSHMEM. We will then open the floor for discussion of the specificatio
n and our mid to long term goals.\n\nTag: State of the Practice\n\nRegistr
