SUMMARY:17th Graph500 List
DESCRIPTION:Richard Murphy (Micron Technology Inc), David Bader (Georgia I
nstitute of Technology), Peter Kogge (University of Notre Dame), Andrew Lu
msdaine (Pacific Northwest National Laboratory), and Anton Korzh (Micron T
echnology Inc)\n\nData intensive supercomputer applications are increasing
ly important workloads, especially for “Big Data” problems, but are ill su
ited for most of today’s computing platforms (at any scale!). The Graph500
list has grown to over 239 entries and has demonstrated the challenges of
even simple analytics. The new SSSP kernel introduced at SC17 has increas
ed the benchmark’s overall difficulty. This BOF will unveil the Graph500
lists, discuss the new streaming kernel, and enhance the new energy metric
s the Green Graph500. It will offer a forum for community and provide a ra
llying point for data intensive supercomputing problems.\n\nTag: Performan
