Exhibitor Description
Boston University is a private research institution leading the way in world-class education and innovative research. BU’s vibrant research computing community emerges from its 33,000 students from 130 countries, 10,000 faculty and staff, 17 schools and colleges, and 250 fields of study on two campuses. The Research Computing Services group provides consulting and training for the 2,100 researchers working on 600 research projects from 80 departments and centers. RCS also manages the Shared Computing Cluster (14,000 CPU cores) and the highly successful Buy-in program. BU is a founding member of the MGHPCC which houses the SCC and is located in Holyoke, MA.
